Education

We are focusing on education because it is the primary building block for a successful life.  Through improving educational outcomes in our community, we will be able to impact generations of lives and build a stable, productive and quality workforce that can meet the needs of our community. 

In order to improve educational outcomes, the North Texas Area United Way will be focusing on strategies in the areas of Early Childhood Development and for Youth. 

Income

United Way is committed to improving the financial stability of our community.  Through investing in strategies that improve financial outcomes for families, our community will have a significant impact on current and future generations.

The North Texas Area United Way is committed to affecting system change and funding programs that contribute to the following outcomes: 

• Increasing financial literacy and life skills among low- to moderate-income individuals and families.
• Connecting Individuals and families to coordinated support services that reduce barriers to achieving resilience and financial stability.
• Build and sustain assets among low- to moderate-income individuals and families.

Health

The United Way is committed to improving the health of our community and contributing to positive outcomes that improve the quality of life for individuals residing in the North Texas Area 

The North Texas Area United Way is committed to affecting system change and funding programs that produce the following outcomes in the area of Greater Independence Among Older Adults.
