Addressing the unmet needs of military personnel and their families impacted by deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.

With hundreds of military personnel in the North Texas area involved in the Iraq and
Afghanistan deployments, the impact is taking a physical, emotional, and financial toll on the families of these dedicated service members. This creates special challenges for military families.

What services are available?

  • Emergency wraparound services to assist with rent, utilities, car repairs, etc.
  • Childcare Assistance in quality child care centers for families impacted by deployment.
  • Education assistance with books and supplies and to fill the gap before GI Bill benefits take effect
  • Providing deployment and reintegration referral support to strengthen our military families

Who is Eligible for services?

  • Any Service Member (active duty, reserve, National Guard, or veteran) and their extended family members who have been impacted by a deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan.
  • Family member and/or parent who are serving as the primary caregiver for children whose parent is currently deployed or has been deployed to Iraq-Afghanistan.
  • Extended family members impacted by a service member’s deployment to Iraq-Afghanistan.
