As we go through this journey called life, it is important that we reflect on the blessings and opportunities that have molded our lives. As you consider these blessings, I would encourage you to consider sharing your time, your talents, and your financial support with those in need through the North Texas Area United Way.

As a small businessman in Wichita Falls, I am keenly aware of the need for an educated, responsible workforce. As a grandfather, I understand the need for quality childcare facilities and after school programs.

As the 2011-2012 Campaign Chair, I have been given the opportunity to study, and learn how the United Way has identified and sought solutions to the biggest challenges facing our community. I have been involved with the process and have seen measurable results. I have been blessed to work with a committed staff and dedicated, passionate volunteers. I am grateful for this experience and fully support all that the United Way is doing and will continue to do in support of our community.

Now, I would like to ask you again to please consider your many blessings and then open your hearts and your checkbook to support our community through your North Texas Area United Way in 2011.
