North Texas Area United Way held its annual Loaned Executive Retreat August 1-3, 2012 at Quartz Mountain, OK.
Businesses across the community support the Loaned Executive program by “loaning” an employee to United Way as a volunteer for our campaign. Loaned Executives are our ambassadors and front-runners of all our fundraising efforts. LE's take our message to companies around Wichita County and explain the work we're doing in Education, Income and Health.
The Loaned Executive program is an excellent investment opportunity for any business. Through the LE program, employees are trained, challenged, and motivated in areas of leadership, account management and public speaking. As a Loaned Executive, employees will meet and work with top business leaders from five or more companies in our community. LE's are responsible for working with companies in planning, executing, and wrapping up their annual United Way campaign. During the campaign, the Loaned Executive gives several presentations on the work of United Way, allowing them to perfect their public and persuasive speaking skills.
Without the dedication and support of Loaned Executives, United Way could not raise the funds needed to support the many programs funded in our community.
