10,000 Readers Challenge

Make a pledge to read to a child this summer.

The North Texas Area United Way and the Wichita Falls Public Library have teamed up and are challenging North Texas to read to 10,000 kids this summer by participating in the 10,000 readers challenge.

A child's success in school and in later life is linked to their exposure to literacy early on. Early reading is the first step in improving long term graduation rates.
