Power of the Purse 2007
1st Annual Power of the Purse was a huge hit!
The first annual Power of the Purse luncheon was extremely successful! Without the support of the 7 Core Founders and the tremendous effort given by Lynn Moran and Dottie Morrison, this event would not have been possible. Approximately 236 women attended this inaugural event. All proceeds raised went to support the United Way’s Imagination Library so that children can receive the gift of reading.

"In 2007, 7 women made a leadership commitment to help make real and lasting changes in our community. Two years later, 63 distinguished women have joined the WLC as guardians of our community.
The WLC focus goes beyond raising funds. We're raising hopes, creating opportunities and changing lives. The WLC has the power to generate change, to transform the tomorrows of those in need."
