Texoma Gives is a 16-hour, online giving event used grow philanthropy in Texoma and surrounding areas.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), provides FREE tax prep for low to moderate income in Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas. This past tax season, we had over a $5 MILLION dollars in refunds and saved $856,447 in prep fees. This ALL went straight back into our community. This was accomplished by our amazing volunteers and lots of hard work.
We completed 3,392 tax returns, impacting over 5,000 individuals in our community. The average overall income was raised from $26,440 to $27,450. That is an average of $1,010 per client that walked through our doors. Please help the VITA program to continue this essential and inexpensive service to our community.
